READING BY TOUCH

In Mrs. Loftis' class, its cool to touch everything!  

In fact, one of her students is learning to even read through touch...with braille of course. 

 Since not all of her students are able to attend braille class, 

she found a way via technology to help them learn about this method of communication.

BIKE SAFETY

Coaches Godfrey, Walker and Baack have found a way to integrate technology and physical education!  This week they've been sharing videos on bicycle safety with students.  

By embedding YouTube videos in a Google presentation, they were able to have the videos ready to go when needed and avoid buffering issues as well as the video suggestions that pop up when a YouTube is done playing.  Be sure to ask your child(ren) what they learned during these presentations!
