Mrs. Lapeyre's Leopards researched Abraham Lincoln and George Washington in honor of their birthdays. Each student took a fact, wrote it down and drew a picture to go with it. They then took each picture and made a paper slide video about Abraham Lincoln. Please enjoy watching their final product. Later, they also made one about George Washington. Way to go, Leopards!

READING PRACTICE CAN BE FUN!
Recently, Forest Creek students in grades 3-5 were introduced to iStation
which is an online reading program provided to us by the State of Texas...thanks!
When starting the program, students complete an assessment.
Based on the results, students are assigned practice that is on their reading level.
With the game feel of the program, students seem to forget they are learning!
The pictures below were taken when Mr. Alvarez's students were "working" on iStation.

KANGAROOS HOPPING INTO TECHNOLOGY
Mrs. Kreczmer's class has been busy!
They've been using Word to create stories and movie reviews.
Power Point presentations have been made for Valentine's Day and reading buddy book.
Some students used Publisher to make some cool Valentine's Day cards.
Way to go Kangaroos!
