MRS. TEELER'S STUDENTS LEARN STARFALL

Mrs. Teeler's kindergarten class visited the computer lab this week and explored Starfall 

They practiced reading, math and basic skills such as colors in this versatile program...

and, most importantly, had lots of fun doing it!  

STORYBIRD IN THIRD

Our third graders have been writing poetry and Mrs. Kaynes' third graders are using Storybird 

to publish their poems.  Storybird is an online publishing program that allows 

students to be creative in the presentation of their poems.

RESEARCHING ANIMALS WITH THE HONEYBEES

Mrs. Heinzen's first graders used the library research tool PebbleGo to learn out about the animal of their choice.  As they found information, they jumped over to a PowerPoint and recorded what they had learned. What a great way to find and record information...way to go Honeybees!

WAKE UP WITH BROADCAST!

Each morning at Forest Creek, a team of students shares information with everyone 

in the school via our morning broadcast.  

Currently, the teams are made up of 4th and 5th graders, but some of our 3rd graders will begin training toward the end of the year so they'll be ready to go when next year starts.  

During broadcast, students have the opportunity to help behind the scenes by running the cameras and  teleprompter as well as performing in front of the camera in the anchor positions.
